A Gentle Space for Wellness, Family & Community

Tucked just outside the gates of Nichada Thani, a new space is blossoming — one designed to bring calm, connection, and conscious living to the families of our neighborhood.

At Spandat Studio we believe wellness begins with presence — in our breath, in our bodies, and in the way we show up for ourselves and one another.

Spanda Studio is a holistic wellness sanctuary where movement, mindfulness, and community pulse together as one. Our space is created for families and individuals in Nichada Thani and beyond to reconnect with themselves and each other through Pilates, sound healing, self-defense, and artful expression.

The name Spanda (स्पन्द) is a Sanskrit word meaning subtle vibration, divine pulse, or creative throb. It refers to the primal movement of consciousness—the quiet spark that gives rise to all of existence. This timeless concept speaks to the essence of our studio: a place where life’s deeper rhythms are felt and honored.

At Spanda Studio, we move with this pulse. Through mindful breath, flowing movement, resonant sound, and shared presence, we invite you to awaken your own inner vitality. Whether you're on a journey of self-discovery or seeking connection with others, we welcome you into our organic, warm, and heart-led space.

Founded by Nathanik Pakkad, a certified sound healer, Reiki practitioner, and trained in Pilates instruction, this studio was born from a desire to create more than just a class — but a shared experience. A place where parents can unwind after school drop-off, children can explore confidence through movement, and families can reconnect with their sense of balance and creativity.

Her husband, Plai, brings powerful energy with his lifelong passion for martial arts as practitioner and instructor with a career as executive and producer in the field of sports entertainment at ONE Championship as well as the co-founder and senior instructor of MATTCOM martial arts system. He will bring his network of instructors with passion and deep expertise from various martial arts, to curate martial arts classes and programs designed to develop physical fitness and empower mental strength while learning self-defense skills as well.

Here, you’ll find:

  • 🤸‍♀️ Pilates mat & reformer classes for mindful strength

  • 🛡️ Martial arts & self-defense programs led by Plai and his expert team – designed to empower both kids and adults

  • 🎨 Occasional art & wellness workshops to spark creativity and inner peace

Together, we’re shaping a studio that’s not just about movement — but about belonging. A soft space for expat families, ISB parents, and the wider community to come together, breathe deeply, and grow gently.
